From the Haute-Provence to the Verdon Gorge
The Valensole Plateau has the largest planted area of hybrid lavender,
and produces much lavender honey.
Man has fashioned the landscape here, where the flatness of the plateau
has enabled large and modern lavender farms, accounting for a large part
of hybrid lavender essential oil production.
