The Pre-Alps of Provence : from the Baronnies to Buëch
Lavender is a tradition in the Buëch area. Wild lavender has long
been gathered in this area of average altitude. This Alpine lavender is
highly prized by the perfume industry. The mountains and forests provide
a beautiful backdrop to the violet-blue fields.
